Dr Holmes is happy to provide a placement-only implant service, assisting with treatment planning and working closely with you to ensure the patient is happy with their experience and service throughout the entire treatment process. If you plan to carry out dental restorations following implant surgery, Dr Holmes will return the patient to your care once implant integration has been deemed successful.

Implant and restoration referrals

Dr Holmes can take charge of the entire treatment process of implants and restorations should you wish, returning the patient to your care on completion of the agreed treatment. You are welcome to accompany your patient during any stage of the consultation and treatment process.

Referring a patient

Dr Holmes strives to make the referral process as quick and efficient as possible.

Step 1

Fill out the short online referral form.

We will contact your patient to arrange a consultation.

Step 3

The consultation will include a thorough dental examination and an informal, jargon-free discussion about how Dr Holmes can create the patient’s desired outcome. X-rays and photographs will be taken, and CT scans arranged if the patient is happy to go ahead with treatment.

Step 4

Both you and your patient will receive a letter acknowledging referral and summarising the proposed treatment plan.

Step 5

Dr Holmes will carry out the implant placement surgery and schedule a follow-up appointment.

Step 6

Once the implant has successfully integrated, the restoration process is completed and the patient is returned to your care.
